What Is In Your Water
Do you know what is in your water?
In my health coach classes I often talk about reading the labels on what you buy at the grocery store. If you’re not reading labels, you might be surprised at how many harmful things you’re putting into your body.
One of the startling labels I really recommend reading isn’t even on a food item. It’s on your toothpaste container or the box it comes in. If you read the label, and you find fluoride, you might want to consider tossing it in the trash right away. If fluoride is in your toothpaste, you’ll probably notice how the label also says “do not swallow”. And if swallowing occurs “get medical help or contact a Poison Control center right away”.
Are you kidding me? Poison control center? For swallowing toothpaste?!
And don’t think for a minute that we’re talking about needing large amounts of toothpaste in order for this to happen. No, it’s only in about a pea-sized amount. Wow…that’s terrible.
But as terrible as that is…guess what’s worse. That same amount of fluoride is found in the average amount of drinking water in one small glass. It’s good to arm yourself with information and know what is in your water so you can better protect yourself and your family. You don’t have to take my word for it. Please watch the following video. You’ll see why fluoride shouldn’t be near you, your kids, or your drinking water.
